Sinus lift in Marbella
In the posterior upper jaw the bone is often flat. A sinus lift creates the height an implant needs there.

Implants in the back region
Fixed teeth exactly where the main chewing load is.
Gentle technique
The internal sinus lift avoids a lateral window.
Easy to plan
The 3D scan shows in advance how much height must be gained.
Often in one session
With enough residual height the implant is placed at the same time.
Building bone below the sinus
The maxillary sinus sits above the upper back teeth. When a tooth is lost there, too little bone height often remains for an implant. During a sinus lift the sinus membrane is carefully lifted and the space created is filled with graft material.
In an internal sinus lift this is done gently through the implant site — usually together with the implant placement. An external sinus lift uses a lateral access when more height has to be gained.
The three-dimensional scan determines which variant applies. Both techniques have been established for decades and are highly predictable.

Frequently asked questions
Is the procedure risky?
A sinus lift is a routine implantology procedure. With 3D planning and careful technique it is very safe.
How much downtime?
Usually one to three quiet days. Avoid nose blowing and flights for a short period.
Can an implant be placed at the same time?
Yes, if enough residual bone provides stable anchorage.
How long is healing?
Roughly four to nine months until full loading, depending on the extent.
