Sedation or general anaesthesia?
Sedation is enough for many procedures. For very long or extensive surgery general anaesthesia is more comfortable.
Do I need to fast?
Yes, usually no food for six hours and no drinks for two hours beforehand.
Can I drive afterwards?
No. You need a companion for the rest of the day.
